best-time-not-5am

Somewhere along the way, we started believing that the only “real” workout is the one that happens before sunrise.

Wake up at 5 AM.

Drink black coffee.

Go for a run.

If that works for you, that’s fantastic.

But here’s something we don’t hear often enough.

You don’t have to become a morning person to become a healthier person.

The best time to walk isn’t 5 AM.

It’s whenever you’re most likely to do it consistently.

For some people, that’s before work.

For others, it’s after dinner.

Some squeeze in a walk while taking work calls.

Others walk while waiting for their kids to finish tuition.

And that’s perfectly okay.

Your body doesn’t care whether your walk happened at 6 in the morning or 7 in the evening.

What matters is that it happened.

We’ve somehow made fitness feel like an exclusive club with too many rules.

Walk this many steps.

Wake up this early.

Eat at this time.

Run this fast.

It’s exhausting.

Health doesn’t have to be so complicated.

A 25-minute walk after dinner, done five days a week, is infinitely better than a 5 AM running plan you abandon after three days.

The best routine is the one that quietly fits into your life.

Not the one that forces your life to revolve around it.

At Steppps, we don’t believe you need to redesign your day to become healthier.

We believe you need to find the small pockets of movement that already exist.

The walk to the grocery store.

The phone call you can take while walking.

The extra lap around your apartment complex.

The walk after dinner with your family.

Fitness doesn’t always need more time.

Sometimes, it just needs a little more intention.

So if you’ve been waiting for the “perfect” time to start…

Stop waiting.

Your best time to walk is the time you’ll actually keep showing up.
